TENTH WEEK

IKER PERALTA, ANDER ARMAS, KOLDO ZUBERO AND STEFFEN LIZUNDIA

From February 4 to 8, we did so many things in four differents technical subjects.

With Ricardo, we finished the VPN work after having many problems and having to
do it a couple of times but we got it done, the work was more fun than legislation
work for sure but we had a lot of problem to finish it. We also managed to finish
the work of the firewall, this work has been given to us better and we have been
able to complete it without many problems.

With Xabi, we were able to finish the group page of two teams for the client
satisfactorily, we did a good job and that was reflected in the page that has
been released for the client. When we finished the page, we had to make a
management manual for the client, the manual indicates how to do the basic
things on the page from uploading an image to creating another section on
the page.

With Gorka, we have been documenting correctly all the jobs that we had to
deliver, we had to make the instant messaging server, but we do not have to
deliver it because there is no time to finish it, after all the strikes and other
things a lot of time has been lost.

With Javier, we had the ubuntu scripting test, but we had to do it by hand, we do
not think it is very logical to do the programming exam by hand because any
character, however small, can give an error in the script and that in a sheet can
not be checked. With Xabi we did a test very similar and this type of exams we
think they do not give us much.

NINTH WEEK

IKER PERALTA, ANDER ARMAS, KOLDO ZUBERO AND STEFFEN LIZUNDIA

From January 28 to 1st of February, we did so many things in four differents
technical subjects.

With Ricardo, We have finished with the work of high availability, we had the work
very advanced some time ago but we needed to add some lines of code in the
configuration of the load balancers, this work was a bit stagnant as there was a
teacher strike and we did not know how to express our doubts
but at last we could finish it.

With Xabi, At the end of the page for the client and after the defense we had to
join our page with the page of another group to make a final page that we can
deliver to the client, this part is much easier than the previous one because we
have to take the best parts of our pages and use it for the final page for the
client.

With Gorka, We have finished the email server as we planned last week, the
configuration of the mail server has not been very complicated, but it has given
us many problems and that has slowed down the work. the truth is that we are
doing well this challenge, the challenge has not yet finished but we are doing well,
we have yet to document these works but we will document them correctly.

With Javier, We had to make some defenses of some jobs that we did a long time
ago, the jobs were of the services Cups, NFS and Samba. Javi asked us a few
questions about the services and we had to answer the questions. We believe
that these defenses should have been made long time ago and what bothers us
is we have to do them at the last moment of the course.

EIGHTH WEEK

IKER PERALTA, ANDER ARMAS, KOLDO ZUBERO AND STEFFEN LIZUNDIA

From January 21 to 25, we did so many things in four differents technical subjects.

With Ricardo, We finish the work of Advice on current legislation and regulations
the work was a bit boring because it deals with laws and things like that,
We completed the work, but it seemed too boring because it did not have any
practice and was to fill in some questions that sometimes we did not understand.

With Xabi, We finished the client's website and we had to make a defense of the
web, in that defense we have been evaluated to know if we have approved.
We have done well our website in terms of functionality, but as design we will
have to improve. At the end of the defense we started to do the work of how
we did the whole page, well explained. The work that we will have to do will be
long and will have to be well detailed.

With Gorka, We have finished the audio and video server as we planned, this
service has been new for us but it has been good for us. Now we are going to
focus on the email server because we have to finish it as soon as possible,
time flies!.

With Javier, We have to do a job in which we administer the directory service
interpreting the specifications and integrating it into a network. We have to
look information about LDAP and LDIF. The work is short but we have a lot of
workload with the other subjects and we will have to make an effort to get it
done.

SEVENTH WEEK

IKER PERALTA, ANDER ARMAS, KOLDO ZUBERO AND STEFFEN LIZUNDIA

From January 14 to 18, we did so many things in four differents technical subjects.

With Ricardo, we continued doing the VPN job, we are about to finish. Then we
were looking at how to put a firewall in debian 9, we have to install and configure a
Firewall (WAF) in out production infrastructure to filter network traffic, we are
searching information of that. Then we were starting a job of load balancers,
we are about to finish but we still have a couple of things to finish.

With Xabi, we continue making the WordPress website. The client is giving us
more requirements for the page and we have to complete them. We still have
a week to finish the page so we have time to finish it.

With Gorka, We started to configure the email server, the configuration of this
server is a bit confusing and having no help from a teacher is complicated.

With Javier, we continued learning to program in Ubuntu, we continued doing
some scripts in Ubuntu. We did some exercises of scripts, the exercises were
new for us, but we are taking it well. We learned to make a simple program
but a program, in which we had to guess a character. The program was very
good but it was very simple.

SIXTH WEEK

IKER PERALTA, ANDER ARMAS, KOLDO ZUBERO AND STEFFEN LIZUNDIA

From January 7 to 11, we did so many things in four differents technical subjects.

With Ricardo,We are learning how to configure a VPN and implement
High Availability solutions, all that in a Debian 9 operative systems.

With Xabi, we are making a WordPress website for an association called GeuBe.
We are going well of time but we will have to make an effort to be able to finish
correctly because WordPress is a new tool for us.

With Gorka, we have to do several tasks in this module: an audio and video server,
an email server and an instant messaging server; all that in the operating system
of Debian 9, this week we started doing the audio and video server is almost
finished, a couple of things are missing but it's finished 

With Javier, we started learning how to program in Ubuntu, we made several
scripts in Ubuntu. We did exercises of scripts, the scripts were simple but they
were necessary to learn correctly the language. It has not been very difficult
for us to learn this language because we have previously learned to program
in PHP and it is very similar.

FIFTH WEEK

From November 12 to 16, we did so many things in four differents technical

subjects. Our teachers are: Ricardo, Javier, Gorka and Xabi.

With Ricardo, we did an oral exam explaining our password policies and encryption

tools also the file integrity, threat detection and signature and certificate techniques and finally install a proxy server in our Debian9 server.

With Xabi, we did an oral exam of our web page, we had to explain the PHP

code of our page, its functions, how it connects to the database, how can

users login in our page...

With Gorka, we have done an exam about web server, specifically with Apache

Web Server. We also did an oral exam of our database, we have to show that

we were able to understand a database from the most basic to the most

complex things.

With Javier, we have done a manual of Automation of tasks we have to add a hard

drive to the debian server and the hard drive have to have 3 primary partitions of

10 GB, then we have to format one partition in ext4 mode. the we have to

configure the server in such a way that only cron and atd services can be

used by some users. this manual we have not understood it perfectly it

has very specific things.

FOURTH WEEK

IKER PERALTA ANDER ARMAS AND KOLDO ZUBERO

From November 5 to 9, we did so many things in four differents technical subjects.

Our teachers are: Ricardo, Javier, Gorka and Xabi.

With Ricardo, we did and exam of cryptography and security, the exam was hard but we did okay.

With Xabi we have started to integrate the PHP language on a database via inserts,

selects, updates… and we are perfecting the web page for the user. We think that
we are doing it right.

With Gorka we have continued trying to relate the tables of our database, but we
don't know how, we are still working on it. We are finding information on internet
but that information is not correct and it's very frustrating.

With Javier we have done a manual of remote access with differents types of operative systems like Windows, Ubuntu and Debian. The manual was very large and a bit complicated to complete.
